Notes:

1. Recommended minimum tie (slot in knife) - 0.020". This is due to excessive cutter breakage which occurs in cutting slots less than 0.020" wide.

2. Recommended maximum tie - 0.120". A tie in excess of 0.120" will result in excessive pounding when operating. We can supply ties greater than 0.120" but will not guarantee either the knife or its proper operation.

3. Minimum cut (tooth on knife) - 0.062". A cut of less than 0.062" will result in excessive tooth breakage in both operation and manufacture, and therefore is not practical.

4. In no case should the width of slot exceed the width of teeth.
