Description: Parkinson Technologies Inc. a growing manufacturer of winding and plastic processing equipment, has immediate openings for Machinists. These individuals will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor, and be responsible for the production of machined parts for our large scaled machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work independently to set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines and/or lathes. Must be able to program and edit in G-Code. Must be able to setup, run, and program multiple machines. Must have experience with machining to tight tolerances. Must be able to use and read precision measuring instruments to inspect and qualify parts throughout the machining process. Must also have knowledge of machine shop theory, procedures, and shop mathematics. The Machinist will also be responsible for keeping their area clean as well as all performing daily maintenance requirements on their assigned machine. The machinist will be required to run different machines, as needed, as the work center load changes. Must also be willing to work overtime daily as well as Saturdays, when requested.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate. Trade school a Plus
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interface with people on all levels.
• Strong work ethic.
• Proven programming experience.

Additional Considerations:

• Experience with Haas, Kuraki , Mori-Seiki
• Experience with MasterCam software.
• Familiar with cranes and hoisting equipment.
• Experience operating Fork Trucks.
